Hello everyone! My name is Justin Camara and I’m one of the spring interns at Curator. I’m a senior at the University of Washington and will be graduating this June with a Communications degree in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. I discovered public relations through the courses I took in college and was drawn to the field because I have always enjoyed storytelling and writing.

I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life and couldn’t picture myself anywhere else in the world. I grew up in Redmond, Washington, and moved to Seattle for school in 2016. In my free time, I love to spend time with my friends by watching movies, playing video games and exploring Seattle. After graduation, I plan to stay in Seattle and find an entry-level agency job in the public relations field. 

I began my 10-week internship at Curator in January. Over the past several weeks, I was introduced to and learned all about agency work in PR. I have enjoyed my time here so much that I was able to extend my internship through spring quarter. As I begin my second quarter interning for Curator, I am extremely excited to work on more in depth, long term projects for client accounts. The lessons and insights I have learned in the past 10 weeks are invaluable to my career growth, and I’m eager to further hone my skills as a PR professional.
