Meet the Spring Interns: Introducing Reagan
Hello everyone! My name is Reagan Rebstock and I am one of the spring quarter interns for Curator. I am currently a junior at the University of Washington studying Communications. I am eager to explore the world of public relations and learn valuable new skills that will help me reach my professional goals.
I am from the Tri-Cities, a town on the eastern side of Washington state where everyone knows just about everyone. Growing up, my grandma owned a dance studio where I grew a passion for dance that has stayed with me for the past 18 years. I also worked closely with the disabled community through programs that helped these individuals build connections with one another while being independent. However, when I first arrived in Seattle, I was unsure of the path I wanted to take. Ultimately, these past experiences have guided me towards understanding what I want to pursue in the future. Communication was the underlying connection, whether it was through words or actions. And I couldn’t be more excited to see what the public relations world will introduce!
I have been lucky enough to continue my love for dance through college as a member of the UW Cheer and Dance team. I have had the privilege to cheer on the husky football team in the greatest setting for the last two years! Although being in front of 72,000 screaming fans can be quite intimidating at times, cheering on the sidelines has created some of my most memorable moments. When I’m not cheering or at school, I am usually with my twin sister searching for a new coffee shop to feed our caffeine cravings.
