History
Curator™ launched in 2009 to serve as a creative earned media agency for lifestyle brands.
Our founder left one of the largest agency networks in the world to start the firm around a central theory: curation. In fact, we own the trademark on the marketing term. In the old model of PR, firms developed messaging that was delivered to consumers. The mistake was assuming they owned the message. They never did – it meant different things to different people.
The idea of curation to us means understanding the consumer so well that we’re able to have conversations with them, where they are, in the way they want to interact. We’ve won pretty much every award an agency can win in our discipline and exceed the industry standard of average length of client relationships because of two reasons: we consistently deliver results, and our team members are great people.
