What are you doing this weekend? LiveLifeLocal can help

If you've ever wondered about what you're going to do over the weekend, then LiveLifeLocal is for you. But it’s not just about weekends; seven days a week it’s about anything and everything you’re in the mood for – restaurants, A&E, sports and recreation, health and fitness, family friendly activities and more. LiveLifeLocal is a growing collection of the best activities all across the country submitted by people who live life to the fullest. The site is sponsored and managed by Safeco Insurance, our client, and it’s officially launching next week after several months of development by the Curator team.

Rather than simply spending big money on a big ad campaign (they do still advertise, of course), Safeco is taking a different approach to LiveLifeLocal – creating a site that speaks to and provides value to its core demographic and engages them directly about the things they already enjoy doing or are looking for inspiration to try, whether right at home or halfway across the country. The idea is to curate an experience for smart, energetic people and provide them with an amazing resource dedicated to helping them get the most out of life.

Safeco is taking it a step further, though, but taking the great things that people submit and trying them out…with the help of actor Ryan McPartlin, best known for his role as Dr. Devon “Captain Awesome” Woodcomb on NBC’s Chuck. He’ll be traveling the country over the next few months filming a series of videos about great LiveLifeLocal activities. And we’ve even added a sweepstakes in which one lucky user will join Ryan on a LiveLifeLocal adventure for one of his video shoots. He might be roping cattle in Texas or playing trampoline dodgeball in Minneapolis. We’ll soon find out.

Join in the fun. Visit LiveLifeLocal and register (so you can enter the sweepstakes). Also, be sure to follows @LLLocal on Twitter for the latest and greatest, and don’t forget to Like our Facebook page.
