Meet the Fall Intern: Introducing Catherine

Hello! My name is Catherine Schultz, and I am the fall intern at Curator. I am starting my senior year at Seattle University and will be finishing up my double major in Strategic Communications and Arts Leadership in the spring. As the PRSSA chapter president for Seattle University, I first heard about Curator through my fellow club members and was excited about the opportunity to get more experience in public relations. Growing up, I lived in both Olympia, Washington and Unionville, Connecticut, but have a soft spot in my heart for the Seattle area as I’ve gotten to know it over the past four years.

Throughout my college experience, I’ve learned that I have creative skills but also really enjoy an organized work environment. The communications field ended up being a perfect balance for my personality, allowing me to be creative while also bringing in a sense of stability and order to my work. I’m excited to gain more experience in this field and learn as much as I can during my internship at Curator.

In my free time, I enjoy watering my many dying plants, listening to a new podcast, cooking some vegetarian meals, and going on walks in the park (with a mask of course!). I am a city girl through and through and adore the thriving arts scene in Seattle and Capitol Hill.

I am thrilled to begin my time with Curator. Even though I have experience working with social media, marketing, and event planning, I am ready to jump into the world of PR and expand my knowledge of Curator’s clientele.
