Summer Intern Roll Call: Olivia Carter

Hey everyone! My name is Olivia, and I’m the newest summer intern for Curator PR. I’m currently studying Global Business and Business Management at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. I initially chose Global Business due to my love for traveling and working with nonprofits. However, a course in global marketing my sophomore year piqued my interest in the world of marketing leading me to add a Marketing minor, which I have been loving every second of! I’m very eager to get started with Curator and expand my knowledge in public relations!

Born and raised a little north of Seattle, Idaho has been a fun change in scenery and setting, but I’m excited to be back here in my favorite city! A typical summer for me includes: sun (when we get it), iced coffee (Starbucks, of course), my chocolate lab, and lots of time with friends and family. If I’m not involved with any of those or at Curator, I’m probably running or training. I play D2 college soccer for Northwest Nazarene and the summer is all about preparation for our fall season—so basically a lot of running. For me, the ideal end to a summer day includes something yummy, online shopping, and watch The Office (sometimes all three at the same time).

All that being said, I’m excited to be interning for Curator PR this summer. I see this as an endless opportunity to not only learn more about marketing and public relations, but to also gain hands-on experience with such an exciting firm!
